I'm fresh as a daisy this fine day because I slept at my parents' house! Nothing is better than a good night's sleep. They have been few and far between lately.
I've mentioned that we've been living in an RV while we build. Once Rachel went to college, we moved into the barn apartment. It has its advantages, like a real bathroom and more room to move around. Disadvantages? Did I mention it's in a BARN? Like 2 doors down from the feed room, and across the aisle from an ornery horse who kicks his stall when you're late with the feeding?
A few nights ago, I woke up to a strange noise. I aimed my flashlight at the kitchen, and suddenly Hix jumped to his feet, alert. There's nothing quite like a dog, staring and growling into the dark, to get your heart racing. Turns out a MOUSE was swimming laps in the dogs' water bowl. I kicked JD out of bed so fast, he practically flew across the room. He tossed it outside and calmly came back to bed as if sleep was still an actual possibility! The next morning, as I was lamenting the audacity of a mouse to come inside, he casually said, “That's nothing. Last summer, we couldn't keep a snake out of the barn!”

Whoever said, “You can't go home again,” was WRONG. I'll be writing this from my parents' spare bedroom until further notice! 🐍
Living at the barn among the wild animals is stressful. Did you know that stress is one reason for thinning hair?!
Whatever the cause, I'm in the throes of it. If you're in the same boat, today's post is for you.

Although I only send out this newsletter M/W/F (and Saturday's Steals and Deals), I actually post daily. If you missed yesterday's post, you can find it here:
And if you haven't tried the Glow-Up Analyzer For Women Over 60 tool, or the new Mahjong game, give them a try!
I hope whatever you're doing this weekend, it brings you joy!

Amazon New Arrivals
It never occurred to me that Amazon would have “new arrivals”. I guess I just figured one of everything in the world was stored in their warehouses. I'm excited to see some new things!
I love this blue and white striped dress! It would look great with a white, or navy, or a red cardigan. Also, a denim jacket! I wore one very similar on my cruise last year. I love it in this black and white pattern, too.
This is the kind of dress that works for so many occasions. Wear it to a wedding, graduation, church, etc. or throw on tennis shoes and do lunch with the girls.

I don't know why, but I think coin necklaces are very chic. I guess they say, I've got so much money, I wear it as jewelry! lol. This one is only $15 dollars. so maybe it says something else entirely.
This is a gorgeous travel case, with lots of room and removable dividers.  It looks like something you'd buy at Nordstrom, not Amazon.
High five if you got the Flashdance reference. 🙂 I'm always going to love an off-the-shoulder oversized shirt!

Denim shorts are never out of style. Throw on some cute shoes and a cool top, and you've got a great summer look.
I'm firmly OUT of my bikini era, but that doesn't mean I want to look frumpy. I think this suit is so pretty and feminine.
Vionic is one of my favorites. I started wearing them when I had Morton's Neuroma and I've never looked back.
Save or Splurge?
One of these shoes is $110 dollars and the other is only $31 dollars. Can you guess which one is which? Take a good look at both before you decide.

My Style – Master's Edition
I've never golfed, but I still enjoy The Masters. The marketing team must do a good job because, every year I tune in to see which golfer will overcome an early round, to dramatically take home the trophy. Maybe we all lean in because the announcers are so quiet.  I don't know much about golf, but I know The Masters is green! The winner gets a green jacket. Probably not as cute as this one, though. I love the green/white striped sweater, the V neck sweater that looks like it would be perfect with my white tennis skirt, and this gorgeous green dress.

Would you consider following Living Well for Seniors on Instagram and Facebook?
Here are two reasons:
  1. I often see Flash Sales, and it's an easy way for me to let you know about the savings.
  2. Brands love to see followers and engagement. When they do, they offer special codes to share with my readers. I'd love to get these to share with you!
