Prime Day Home Deals: 15 Finds Worth Adding to Your Cart

Amazon’s fall Prime Day runs today and tomorrow, October 6 and 7, and the home deals are some of the best of the year. Cozy throws, kitchen upgrades, and cleaning tools that make chores easier are all marked down for Prime members.

The 15 finds below were chosen for comfort, quality, and practicality after 60. Each one is highly rated and earns its spot in your home, whether you’re settling in for fall or getting ready for holiday guests.

Cozy Home

Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Throw The CozyChic throw is famous for its buttery-soft knit, and it rarely goes on sale. It’s machine washable, doesn’t shed, and makes an easy gift for anyone who is always cold.

UGG Fleece Blanket UGG brings the same plush comfort as its slippers to a blanket. It’s soft without being heavy, and it’s warm enough for chilly evenings on the sofa or an extra layer on the bed.

NEST New York Moroccan Amber Candle Moroccan Amber is warm and rich, with notes of amber and vanilla that suit fall and winter. A NEST candle feels like a luxury, and this is a good time to try one for less.

ONEWISH Cordless Rechargeable Table Lamp A cordless lamp goes anywhere: a dining table, a dark hallway, a bathroom counter, or the patio. It recharges by USB, dims with a touch, and has no cord to trip over, a real plus for nighttime safety.

Amazon Basics Down-Alternative Pillows, 2-Pack These soft-density pillows are made for stomach and back sleepers, who usually do best with a lower, softer pillow. They’re machine washable and come in a set of two, so it’s easy to refresh both sides of the bed.

In the Kitchen

KitchenAid 5.5-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer This is the deal of the list for anyone who bakes. The bowl-lift design means no tilting a heavy mixer head, and the 5.5-quart bowl handles double batches of holiday cookies with ease.

Calphalon Titan 10-Piece Nonstick Bakeware Set A full bakeware refresh in one box, from baking sheets to everyday pans. The steel-core construction resists warping, and the nonstick surface means less scrubbing after holiday baking.

KitchenAid Quilted Oven Mitt and Pot Holder Set Worn-out oven mitts are easy to overlook until they let heat through. This quilted cotton set includes mitts and pot holders, and it’s one of the easiest kitchen upgrades on the list.

Hamilton Beach 1.7-Liter Electric Kettle An electric kettle boils water faster than the stove and shuts off on its own. It’s perfect for tea, instant oatmeal, or a quick cup of coffee, and the lightweight design is easy to lift and pour.

YETI Rambler 14 oz Mug The YETI mug keeps coffee hot through a slow morning. The handle is easy to grip, and the lid slides closed to prevent spills. It also makes a great stocking stuffer.

Owala FreeSip 32 oz Water Bottle Staying hydrated matters more as we age, and the Owala makes it easier. You can sip through the built-in straw or tilt it back to drink, and the lid locks so it won’t leak in a bag.

Cleaning and Comfort

Tineco Floor ONE S5 Cordless Wet-Dry Vacuum and Mop The Floor ONE S5 vacuums and mops hard floors in a single pass, so there’s no separate bucket to haul around. It handles sticky spills and pet hair, cleans itself, and stores upright in a small space.

Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Treater Spray This spray has a loyal following for lifting food, grease, and coffee stains from clothes and table linens. It’s a smart one to keep on hand before the holiday meals begin.

GoveeLife 6L Smart Humidifier Once the heat comes on, indoor air gets dry, and so do skin, eyes, and sinuses. This humidifier fills from the top, so there’s no awkward tank to carry to the sink, and its 6-liter capacity runs through the night.

Amazon Basics Two-Tier Metal Plant Stand Bringing plants indoors for the colder months? This two-tier stand lifts them to a more comfortable height and works indoors or out. It’s an inexpensive way to give a corner of the room a fresh look.

Before You Shop

Prime Day deals end Wednesday night, October 7, and popular items can sell out before then. A few tips help you get the most out of the sale:

• Sign in to Prime first. Most of these prices are available only to Prime members. A free trial qualifies if you’re not a member yet.
• Check the price at checkout. Lightning deals can change throughout the day, so confirm the price in your cart before you buy.
• Shop early for gifts. Several of these picks, like the YETI mug, the NEST candle, and the Barefoot Dreams throw, make easy holiday gifts at a fraction of the usual cost.
