Funnel-Neck Trenches
The trench gets an update this year with a taller, structured funnel collar instead of the usual notched lapel.

Love the coat, and the Funnel neck, but I have found if you don’t have a “longer neck”, depending on the coat, does not look right. “Just saying”.
We are at the “retirement age”, we are down sizing and clearing out the forever home, for some thing different. But I love your design, even if you have a lot of windows. LOL

I really like your house. The maintenance free is a good choice we have siding and a metal roof but still have to paint the trim. 😞 My husband use to work where they made the decking you have nice option to use. I love the coats you showed.

The funnel neck trim I will definitely skip. It comes around every so often and my position of “no” does not change lol. For those that embrace the trend, how do you keep your makeup off the darn collars???? I get makeup transfer regardless of technique or setting spray. Maybe this is a good question for Tania (ha!!)
That’s a good question! You’ve done the basics, but maybe avoid bringing foundation too far down your neck. A silk scarf tucked inside the collar can also act as a sneaky little makeup shield. But I get it. Funnel necks aren’t for everyone!
