Love the book recommendations! I’ve been reading the Albert Smith Mystery Thrillers series by Steve Higgs. They are about the adventures of a recently widowed, retired British detective and his German Sheperd Rex. I’m on the 5th book right now. They are so interesting and well written. I love a good British mystery, and I’ve never come across a book with a dog that has dialogue! It’s not cheesy either. Steve Higgs has written a lot of books, and I can’t wait to continue reading his works.
Thanks for the recommendation! I’m adding it to tomorrow’s newsletter! 🙂
Hi Lisa,
The Astral Library looks intriguing to me! As a kid I always dreamed of stepping into Kay Thomason’s Eloise world. I so wanted to run up and down the halls of the Plaza Hotel, too! BTW, I just loved the photo the other day of one of your horses! Beautiful! I took horseback riding lessons for years growing up. I adore horses❤️ Thanks for sharing that.
There have been a few books I’d like to dive into, as well! Thank you. The horses are beautiful to look at, but I haven’t ridden one in years. Goals!
Almost done with Frozen River and I’m loving it. They should make a movie out of it. Thanks for the referral.
Agreed!! And based on a real person! 🤯
I just finished the audiobook, the frozen river. I loved it too. Thanks for a new list of books to look up. I always have a ebook and a audiobook going on. I’m enjoying your blog.
Thank you, Carol!!
Thank you for sharing these reading options. I’m always looking for a good book. I put a few of these on my list. Happy reading!
Thanks, Patti! I hope you enjoy them. 🙂
