It may be a workday, and sure, I had to send a check to the IRS, but JD and I are having the time of our lives! There has not been a single animal that's tried to kill us today.

Do you remember the commercial where the parents dropped the kids off at the grandparents' house and sped away? That was us. Here are the dogs. Good luck. Vroooom!

Traveller is staying with my mom. She said he was running around like a banshee until she got him to settle down. I didn't ask HOW she got him to settle down, but since she gave Rachel her first-ever spanking, I have my suspicions.

It's not been all smooth sailing. I'm not gonna lie, the trip did get off to a rocky start. I'd given JD my company credit card to pay for the rental car while I ran errands. As we were going to bed, I asked for it back. That's when he realized that it was no longer in his pocket. Perhaps it fell out at the IGA when he stopped to buy a soda? I very calmly and politely asked him how such a thing could have happened. Did he perhaps do a headstand at the counter? Inquiring minds want to know. A quick call to the store garnered nothing. Finally, I checked Facebook, and sure enough, a good Samaritan had messaged me to say he'd found it and would be home soon, where we could meet and get it back. So I calmly and politely asked my husband to put his pants back on and drive in the dark to retrieve the card he's lost at the IGA while doing backflips.

I'm not sure who is having more fun, JD or Traveller.

Why do we decorate bathrooms with yucky bath mats? They deserve better! This rug is much nicer than the furry ones of old. And it's washable, too.

I love a v-neck shirt with personality! This top would be so cute with a pair of white jeans or a navy pair of shorts.

What a gorgeous dress! I wish I'd had this on my cruise! I would put a cute white top on as a cardigan or pair this with a lightweight denim jacket. Comes in lots of nice colors.

Did any of you watch The Madison? Michelle Pfeiffer hair stole the show. The internet has been obsessed with the gold hair tie she wore. This is probably not it since it's under $10 dollars, lol, but it looks VERY similar.

I need this shelf! Space is a premium in our tiny barn bathroom, and I'm tired of watching my skincare fall off the vanity onto the floor. Now I can watch it fall into the toilet! Just kidding, I'll put JD's stuff on it.

You don't know this because we've not been in the same room together, but I've been to India 3 times. It's one of my all-time favourites! While I was in Jaipur, I bought a hand-blocked print tablecloth. LOVE. I pick them up whenever I see one, because Indian tablecloths always make the event festive. This is gorgeous in green, but there are others at the link.

I had NO idea how pricey these Mahjong kits are. This one is actually one of the cheaper sets. It's gorgeous but darn. I probably need to play once before I fully invest. This set is not quite as fancy, but it's less expensive. Mahjong ladies, tell us the scoop1

Does anyone else get hot at night? This is cute, and reviews say it's breathable, a MUST. The ruffle keeps it from being too basic.
