I am on my way home, and no one is happier than my mother! She sent me several photos over the weekend and announced she'd renamed Traveller. At her house, he is now called Rowdy! Turns out that puppies play constantly, are always hungry, and occasionally go potty on your new rug. Is he chasing you with a knife? Then call me when there's a real emergency!

Does that look like the face of a troublemaker? I think not.
It's been a fun and productive trip. I met up with my work peeps, talked business, made decisions, wore a bra – you know, important corporate stuff.
Then JD and I decided that since Traveller and Mom were having such a good time, we'd spend another night in Georgia so I could visit with friends.

They may look like sweet Church Ladies, but don't be fooled. They've talked me into taking a 1,099-step staircase down to a gorge, kayaking with sharks, and doing a fitness class in a public park, which included a “wheelbarrow” and public humiliation. If anyone should be called “Rowdy”, it's them!
Life is too short for boring. I hope your weekend is full of rowdy-but-wonderful encounters. 🙂

Today's Post
Today we're talking about my favorite clothing item – Jeans! On a shopping trip last year, the stylist kept telling my friends that their jeans were too big! They should fit well, and that's a lot tighter than you think. There are many other tips in today's post:

These tennis shoes look a whole lot like another pricier brand that rhymes with SOAKA.
My Hog-Eye friend, Tami, sent me a few things she'd put in her Amazon cart. This top is lightweight and cute!

I love these ceramic plates! The blue is gorgeous, but there are lots of others, too.
Bermuda shorts don't have to be boring! Love the pockets and tie. Also available in other colors.
Paint-by-number kits have obviously changed over the years. This is actually really gorgeous. It would be a fun way to unwind and stop the constant phone scrolling.

I love blouses like this. They work with jeans or corporate events, they cover the arms, and they're not tight-fitting.
Another super cute blouse that would work for a ton of different occasions. Love the sleeve detail. Comes in navy, white, or black.
I had the best mother-in-law in the world! One of the quirky things I remember about her is that she always kept a foot file under her coffee table. She lived in St. Simons so sandals were a staple. It's getting that time of year. A smart buy and under $10 dollars.
Aren't these pretty? The heel is high, but not TOO high. Also available in a pretty red and white combo. On sale!
