How is your weekend going so far?

Ours has been especially wonderful because of our special guest. Watching my mom swoon over the new baby makes me wonder where all the sweet-talking was when I was a kid. Grandparents, am I right? 🤔

I get it. That is one cute kid! This photo was taken moments before I grabbed him for myself. And about 5 minutes before I handed him back. Babies are a lot heavier than I remember.

Maybe I was just weak from helping his parents carry in all of the baby items. Poor Rachel traveled with a Walmart Pack-N-Play and diapers. Our motto was, “Let us know what you need and we'll show you how to live without it.” 🤣

Ashleigh did forget one thing – a large, workout ball that they sit on to bounce him to sleep. Luckily for them, we had one at the barn.

We didn't want to spoil Rachel with things like traveling toys and portable bathtubs, but Joey gets his own horse-sized beach ball. Grandparents, am I right??
