Good Morning,
I hope that while you're reading this with your morning coffee, I am still tucked snugly in bed. With a house full of people and pets, chances are slim.
Yesterday was a whirlwind. Most of you know that I still work a full-time job. I finished most of my To-Do List, just in time for Tania's arrival. We'd barely said hello before Rachel showed up from school. A few minutes later, JD was here, along with my cousin, who's visiting from Orlando. Did we stay home and visit like civilized people? No, we did not. We headed to the fair!

We met my brother/builder and his family, watched the horse show, then walked the midway. JD and Rachel rode all of the crazy rides while my cousin and I reminisced about how we once thought the fair was the best thing EVER. Now? I kept looking at my watch, wondering why on earth the fair was still open at 9:30 PM on a weeknight.

True story: when I was thirteen, I talked so much about the cute boys operating the rides, my parents wouldn't let me go back because they were afraid I'd run off with one. 🤣

There is no longer any danger of that happening. Those people work WAY too hard and live out of campers. I've had all the RV living I can stand. If my mom would like to forbid me from going back this weekend, I'd be much obliged!

Enjoy your weekend doing everything—or absolutely nothing—you please.

xoxo,

Lisa ❤️

This looks like something Michelle Pfeiffer would wear in The Madison. So cute.

Love this set! The pants are here, and the top here.

Not going to lie – this actually sounds awesome. It'd be a nice gift for someone who needs to relax.

No one will know you bought this from Walmart!
I saw a lady at the fair who looked so cute wearing jeans like these. They're 50% off!
The last time I played bridge, one of the ladies was singing the praises of this. She said she could absolutely tell a difference!
Very pretty and 25% off with code SUMMER!
My Style – Neutrals
I'm always going to love my neutrals. They never seem to go out of style and look good with a few basic pieces.

Living Well Tip of the Day
Try the "Thumb-to-Fingertip Tap" for Brain Agility
The Precision Sequence: Sit back comfortably, raise both hands, and gently tap the tip of your thumb to the tip of each finger on the same hand—index, middle, ring, pinky—and then go backward (pinky, ring, middle, index). Once you have the rhythm, try doing both hands at the same time, or challenge yourself by starting one hand at the index finger and the other hand at the pinky!
Why it works: Fine motor sequences require precise communication between your brain's motor cortex, cerebellum, and sensory systems. Doing a quick "finger-tapping" sequence creates tiny new neural connections, sharpens hand-eye coordination, and acts as an instant mental palate cleanser when you need a quick break from focused work.
