I hope you're all well-rested and ready to take on the week! We have several new subscribers, so I thought I'd take a second to share about Living Well for Seniors. Most of you know my sister, Tania, at 50 Is Not Old. She and I decided to start Living Well because we wanted to work on something meaningful together. Since I started volunteering with seniors in the 7th grade, have worked in senior living for the past 30 years, and then suddenly I woke up and was one, we thought a blog geared toward 60+ year olds made sense. It's the stage of life that we're in; why not talk about the things we're dealing with? (Some people don't like the term “senior”, but I'm embracing it.) We post on the website 5x a week, and send this newsletter every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus a special Steals and Deals issue on Saturdays. The newsletter always includes something about my personal life. Like that, we moved back home to TN last year after 30 years in Atlanta and are currently building a house. You'll hear about my husband, JD, my daughter Rachel, our crazy horse that likes me to hold his tongue, the occasional snake we find at the barn, and our dogs. Especially the newest puppy, Traveler, we found on the side of the road. |

We have a lot of “stuff” at the barn, like mowers and weed eaters, etc. I bought two of these to hide it from view. See what JD thinks of it here. |

I got these Debloat gummies in today. Perfect timing since I have friends coming to town this weekend, and we're most likely going to go to the lake. Which means I'll be wearing a bathing suit. Pretty sure I should have ordered more than one bottle. |

This is genius! It's a romper, but the back isn't sewn together, making going to the bathroom a whole lot easier! Thank you, Spanx! |

I've shared this before, but I remembered they gave us a code for 15% off. I just checked and it's still working! Code: LW4S15 |

I told you my dogs loved this! If you have dogs with itchy skin, you know the struggle is real. Miranest gave us a 10% off code if you want to try it! LW4S10 |

We had a pool for years in Georgia and I always bought cheap floats, Year after year. So when I saw the price on these, I was a little taken aback. The reviews are glowing. What about it pool people? Do you buy good quality, or cheap ones again and again? |

My friend Gina is a big supporter of Living Well for Seniors, but she lives in Iowa, where winters are VERY tough on outdoor furniture. She asked me to find a metal-framed set. With gray. And a bench. 🙂 I like this one a lot. 🙂 |

I love the open weave trend! It means I can wear a fitted cami or tank underneath to give me some shape, and then hide it under a nice, relaxed fit knit. 🙂 |

Living Well Tip of the Day |
|
Optimize Your Hydration with a "Morning First" Habit Hydrate Before You Caffeine: Before reaching for your morning coffee or tea, drink a full glass of water. Our bodies naturally lose moisture overnight, and starting the day by rehydrating first thing jumpstarts your metabolism, aids digestion, and delivers an immediate boost to your energy and focus. Why it works: Sleep is a multi-hour fasting and dehydrating period. Providing your body with water before a diuretic like caffeine ensures your cells are primed, keeping your energy steady and preventing that mid-morning slump. |
