I hope by the time you're reading this, I'm finally asleep. It's currently 3 AM , which is about six hours past my bedtime. JD and I are actually in Atlanta. We drove down yesterday to attend a birthday party and will head home later tonight. I'm basically blogging on fumes, but it was worth it to see my friends.

Aren't they cute? We work together at that other job I keep telling you I have. lol. We did some brainstorming at the party, which basically came down to “When can we get together again, and should we make the dinner reservations now?”
I have no idea why I'm holding my coffee cup like I'm being paid a product placement fee, but at least I was smart enough to wear sunglasses. My eyes are telling the story of these long nights, and it's not a pretty one.
Was it a long way to come for a birthday party? Yes. But that's what friends do. We make time for each other. What can I say? I'm a giver.
In a totally unrelated note, the dogs found a new friend.

It's going to be a long summer. Good thing that's not coffee in my cup.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. There are a ton of sales happening, so look for the newsletter tomorrow. And thank you for being here!

Today's Post
True story: I went to the lake with my family on Mother's Day, put on my bathing suit and realized that my booty had left without saying goodbye. Honestly, the poor elastic was just hanging there, like “what are we supposed to cling to??” If you have a problem area and like to go to the beach or pool, then this post is for you. Read it here:

Fun Finds
How pretty is this? It's casual but looks very put-together.
I love the spheres that hang at Christmas. Why not all year long in the backyard?! These would make any outdoor party look elegant.

This is less of a “fun” find and more of a necessary one. I'm having a tough time with the cats and pollen, etc. and keep rubbing my eyes. I look like a panda. Ugh. Hope this helps!
Ruggable has some new summer-themed rugs available. I'm leaning toward a green vibe in my new house. Outside will get a bright colored rug, but inside I want things nice and calm

New Featured Retailers
I'm on the hunt for some new retailers to share. I love the tried-and-true brands, but I don't want to be in a style rut!
This is from Draper James, Reese Witherspoon's brand. I've been in her store once and thought the clothes were cute. I'm not huge on frills, but I liked this simple dress a lot.
This skirt is also from Draper James. I like denim skirts, but they tend to be too stiff. This looks like it has a bit of movement to it which is nice.
Southern Tide is new to me, but it's been around for a while. I'm a fan of the coastal vibe! This shirt is simple but chic.
Cardigans can all start to look the same. I like that this is a bit different without being too wacky. It only has a couple of reviews, but they LOVE it.
Ladies, I don't presume that everyone has a life like mine with a barn full of wacky animals and the occasional snake. If your life includes an event where you need to wear a cape gown, then I have found a beauty for you. I volunteer to be your +1!
Have a product you think we'd love? Email me at  [email protected] I'd love to share!

My Style – Duffield Lane
Duffield Lane is another new retailer to me. I found a lot to love on their site!
