Who has big 4th of July plans? JD and I are going to my brother/builder's house for a Low Country Boil and fireworks. We're more Hillbilly than Low Country, so the chances of setting something on fire are high. I think I should watch the festivities, fireworks, cooking, setting the table, cleaning up, etc., from the pool just to be safe. In other exciting news, I got my results back from Superpower. There was a TON of information from my 107 tests that showed optimal results (57), normal results (13), and out-of-range results (13). Most of the 13 problem areas centered on cholesterol and glucose, probably because I eat BBQ chicken wings 6x a week. I didn't mention that to my Superpower friends, so we'll never know for sure. Overall, it was great information! The app has a built-in AI component, and when I told it some issues I was having, it was like, “DUH. Have your gallbladder checked.” Since my mom and sister had theirs removed, it could have a point. Which is how I find myself waiting on a delivery of Ox Bile pills. No one tells you things when you're young! Speaking of being young, there was one really great piece of information. |

I'm still in my 50s! That alone was worth the price of membership. Imagine how awesome I'm going to be after that big bottle of bile! xo, Lisa |

Living Well Tip of the Day |

Use "The Barefoot Check-In" for Better Stability The Sensory Wake-Up: Sometime today, kick off your shoes and socks and stand barefoot on a hard floor or a patch of grass. For 30 seconds, consciously press your big toe, your pinky toe, and the center of your heel firmly into the ground, spreading your toes as wide as they will go. Why it works: Your feet contain over 200,000 nerve endings designed to tell your brain exactly how to balance. Spending all day in supportive or structured shoes can dull those signals over time. Giving your feet a quick "barefoot check-in" reawakens those sensory pathways, fires up the tiny stabilizing muscles in your arches, and instantly improves your posture and balance from the ground up. |
