You'll be happy to know that I survived my 12 hours of fasting. It wasn't the absence of food that was so difficult, but I enjoy my morning cup (or two) of coffee.
The blood draw went well, although my order called for six vials and they only took five. JD said it's actual proof that a little bit of me goes a long way.
The house is coming along. My dad patiently explained to me that things tend to go more quickly when decisions are made promptly. I patiently explained to my father that it's my brother's fault.
This is how it goes: My brother/builder will show JD and me a concrete patio and ask if we like it. Then I'll ask him what else is available, which is when he sends me to the concrete plant to check out colors and finishes, then I head to Pinterest, then my brother takes us to some houses to see what other people are doing, and then..I go with his initial suggestion.
JD and I just approved the kitchen design. My brother hooked me up with a cabinet showroom. They sent back a quote. I asked for something different. We ordered a door that takes seven weeks to arrive, which, upon seeing, I realized I didn't like, and then we accepted the first quote.
I think you see my point. If my brother were more persuasive, we'd be much further ahead.
