Happy Monday,
I'm writing this morning from Atlanta. My real job has demanded that I come to town for several work meetings.

We started last night with a trip downtown to watch the Atlanta Dream play the Indiana Fever.

For those of you who don't know, those are basketball teams. It was very exciting because the Fever were 22- 12 and the Dream were 21- 12, and that's all I had time to Google before the game, so if you need to know more, you might want to check ESPN.

At one point, I was watching the ladies take the court, twisting, turning, jumping around, and I thought, You know, I can totally relate to this level of athleticism.

It was when the senior cheerleaders, The Dream Supreme, came out to perform their routine, but still. 😂

The WNBA game was just the beginning. The corporate office has scheduled several more “team-building activities” for us this week.

On Tuesday, we're playing pickleball. This seems like a questionable choice for team building, considering I am both competitive and a terrible loser.

The bad news is I may be fired for “behavior unbecoming of a team player.”

The good news is, if that happens, I'm pretty sure I have a promising second career with the Dream Supreme.

Have a great week!

xo,
Lisa ❤️

37% off this celery sweater. Love the button details.

Ann Taylor -Love the color. This would look great with jeans.
J Crew Factory Just $29. Other colors, available.

For the upcoming guest bath. JD can make do with a bar of Zest. lol
True Story: I once went to a new hairdresser. She sat me down in the chair, picked up my hair, looked me over and said. “We need to highlight the front, add some lowlights, and you should never wear burgundy again.” 😂 Unfortunately for me, burgundy is trending. Fortunately, this top comes in other colors.

I can't wait until our house is done and we can start decorating. I want the guest rooms to have simple, comfy beds.
For the basement, I want a huge, comfy sectional so people can stretch out, and kids can fall asleep watching tv. This one has great reviews.
I don't think there's anything more satisfying than a hot shower a a yummy smelling body scrub. Just ordered this today.

I just ordered this to try. I love a good misting spray and this says it hydrates like lotion, without the residue.
These are supposed to be a great alternative for the more expensive Ruti pants I just got in. I ordered these for Rachel, but I haven't been around her yet to compare the two. They are made out of the same material, and reviews are good.

My Style – French Inspired
I've been lucky enough to travel to France twice and I don't know how they do it, but the women always look so chic! Here are a few “French-inspired” items. They may be cliché. Or they may be chic. I don't speak French.

Living Well Tip of the Day
Use "Brain Dumping" to Clear Nighttime Mental Chatter
The Bedside Paper Dump: Keep a small notepad and pen right by your bed or on your nightstand. About 30 to 45 minutes before sleep, spend two minutes writing down every task, random thought, or lingering worry floating around in your head. Do not worry about neatness or order, just write until your mind feels clear, then close the notebook.
Why it works: When you keep open tasks or worries in your active memory, your brain enters a state of cognitive tension called the Zeigarnik effect; it continuously loops unfinished business to ensure you do not forget it. Externalizing these thoughts onto paper signals to your brain that the information is safe and stored. This allows your prefrontal cortex to powered down, drastically reducing sleep latency and preventing late-night overthinking.

I don't even know how to compute these scores. Tracy F has to be a bot! If you've played this game at all, you know these scores are impossible. Julie P?? I can't even get on the game I made on my own site! Kudos, ladies. I am in awe. And by “awe”, I mean really, really aggravated. 🙂
