Good Morning,
Look at us, we made it to the weekend! You never know around here. Someone reached out to say I should have called the website, “Never a dull moment.” lol.

We have several new subscribers, so welcome! For those of you just tuning in, my husband and I are currently building our first house at age 60.

We built the barn first and now live in its 12 x 26 office. It has a kitchenette and a bathroom, and that's about it.

Picture yourself lying in your bed with the door closed. On the other side of that door is hay, shavings, and a horse that likes to kick its stall door to tell you he's hungry. Also, 3 dogs are lying on top of you. Oh, and it's not a bed; it's a pullout couch. Never a dull moment, indeed!

Our horse is crazy, and our dogs cause chaos daily. One even chased me with a knife. I share it all – the good, bad, and “I stepped in what?!”

I have a friend who says that she likes to follow people who have it together, so if that's you, here's Equestrian Lisa. She's got it all figured out and always looks amazing. There are absolutely no flies in her barn. That horse would never ask her to hold its tongue!

For the rest of you, here's a glimpse of the Lisa you actually get.
No matter your preference, I'm just glad you're here.
xo,
Lisa ❤️

Today On The Website
I'm dreaming of the day I'm in my own house. I'll never move, but that doesn't mean I won't want to change things up now and then. Today's post is on rugs and what “washable” really means.

I just got these pants and they are now my new faves! They are available in several colors, super comfy, and perfect for travel. For a limited time, 20% off!
UNTUCKit is having a sale on all of women's styles.
Love the color and it's 50% off.

I love a good two-piece set. Other color combos available.

The reviewers love it, so I'm in! I just have to get it out of the mailbox and hide it before Rachel comes home and steals it.
The 25% off sale ends on Sunday. Grab some good deals before it ends. The leopard print dress is cute! I also love this lightweight sweater.
I forget to drink enough water and I'm bad to forget the whole skincare routine, but when I was at Rachel's I put this by the sink and sprayed my face with it whenever I went to the bathroom. I'm 60 so that was a LOT. I think I'll be adding this next.

Spanx two-piece set available in lots of colors.
A friend recently tried the Elizabeth Arden 8-Hour Cream and loved it. She asked me to find a good price for her. She'd found it for $32 dollars. I found the whole set above for the same price!
What a cute hostess gift or treat for a girls' trip. No liquids to bother TSA.

My dogs keep me hopping! Here are three products that we have for them that we love.
We top their food with the Brutus Bone Broth. It's great for their coat. -We also just ordered the goat milk. 🙂
This Pathfinder 2 is a LIFE saver. They can now roam around our 80 acres and we can see them without cell service!
We're a The Farmer's Dog family. My three are huge fans.
For fuller brows – sweatproof and waterproof. 🙂
I just ordered this firming body lotion from Cindy Crawford. She's probably packing it right now! 🙂

My Style – Surviving the Heat
I'm going south for a work trip and the temperatures are supposed to hit 100! The dress code is casual, so all of these would work.
This looks so cool and breathable. I'd probably buy it in one of the many neutrals available, but I love this coral. 25% off
Pleated Skort (also available in other colors.)

Living Well Tip of the Day
Try the "10-Second Cold-Water Wrist Dip" to Shake Off Brain Fog
The Circulation Splash: When that midafternoon slump hits, head to the sink, turn on the cold water tap, and run cold water over the insides of your wrists for 10 to 15 seconds. Finish by splashing a bit on your face or dampening the back of your neck.
Why it works: Your wrists and the back of your neck contain key pulse points where major blood vessels run very close to the surface of the skin. Exposing these areas to a sudden drop in temperature sends an immediate sensory cue through your central nervous system. This causes a minor, harmless spike in norepinephrine—your body's natural alertness hormone—instantly sharpening mental focus, clearing brain fog, and boosting your energy without relying on extra caffeine.

  1. Those Ruti pants are the bomb! I bought a pair last year and they quickly became the most worn pants in my closet. Glad you caught that sale for us!
