Happy 4th of July,
Let the festivities begin!
I love a weekend when the full Team Tyre is at home. Yesterday, Rachel and I made good use of our time together by getting a spray tan. I was putting way too much “white” in the red, white, and blue theme.
The trip to Sun Tan Village was not without incident. To get from my mom's to the main highway, we have to drive down a short spur road. I saw the policeman sitting there, but thought nothing of it.
As I hit the main highway, he pulled in behind me and hit the blue lights. Sigh.
A nice, young officer approached the window, and to be honest, we had a very friendly conversation.
“How are you today?”
“Fine. Did you wait to pull me over on the main highway so more people would see?”
“It took me that long to catch you. The speed limit on that road is 45. Do you know how fast you were going?"
“46?”
Turns out I was WAY off. I thought about explaining the spray tan emergency, but there was no need. Thankfully, he only gave me a warning. There are advantages to life in a small town.
The second he left the window, I told Rachel, “This stays between us.”
She laughed. “Too late. Dad's on speakerphone.”
Sigh. The really sad part? He already knew! My sister-in-law had already texted. There might be a few disadvantages to small-town living, too.
Have a wonderful 4th of July, and happy shopping!

Happy 4th of July🇺🇲🎇🎆🇺🇸
Same to you!!
I really like that berry Chico’s dress, and I love ANYthing from J.Crew! I can relate to living in a small town. Although it has its advantages and disadvantages, I absolutely would not want to live anywhere else! 🇺🇸♥️🤍💙🇺🇸💕
Same to every bit of that! 🙂
