I hope your weekend went well. My Saturday is a bit foggy. I was worn out from my week away with Rachel and had just one goal – to rest. I slept in late, had some coffee, and went back to bed.

Traveller even kept me company! Then I moved out of the bed and fell asleep on the outdoor patio furniture. I kept thinking, “Boy, my body is really telling me to take it easy!” I finally woke up long enough to drive to my parents house, where I promptly fell asleep in their recliner.

Rachel came home for the weekend and she and JD came to say hi. I mentioned to JD that I'd slept most of the day and he said, “Oh, yeah. That allergy pill I gave you this morning really makes you drowsy.”

Say what?? Upon reflection, I had a VAGUE memory of complaining about the pollen and him handing me a pill. I'm sure the whole “knock your wife out all day” was a total accident.

Seriously. If we had that kind of medicine laying around, why haven't we been giving it to the dogs???

Sunday was Mother's Day and it was lovely. I went to church with my crew in a dress and everything! Then we had lunch with my parents, and finished the day at the lake.. And since I no longer trust anything my husband hands me, I even managed to stay awake for most of it.

Wherever you are today, I hope this Monday is full of joyful moments and that you are awake for them all!

Fun Finds

Love it! it's got pockets, sleeves, and a v-neck! The tan and white is chic, but it comes in lots of color combos. And it's a great price!

If anyone would like to join me, I'm on a mission to get hydrated. I'm allowing myself coffee and water for the next 7 days. Period. The coaster lights up and makes a sound to remind you to pick it up and drink!

I wish I'd had a cooler along with us today. This is functional and stylish!

I'm sure no one needs this but me, but I have to share it anyway. It is 100% the best buy I've made in a long time. We have been using it for a couple of weeks, and it works beautifully. If the dogs get too far, we just ping them with a tone, and they start heading back. They look like they're communicating with the mother ship, but they don't seem to mind.

I got two necklaces from Bryan Anthonys for me and Rachel and we were really happy with the quality. Each one comes with a card and some wisdom. This one is called Boundaries. It says in part: I hope you know that it’s ok to choose yourself. It’s ok to walk away from those who do not value your worth. It’s ok to be intentional with your energy and what you invest it in. It’s ok to say “no.” Anyone else need to hear that? I also really love this Sea Seeker necklace.

Does anyone out there need ONE chair? Last week I wrote about how our new house will have a deck outside our bedroom window. I thought this set would fit the space. When I showed it to JD, he said, “Why do we need two chairs? I figured you'd sit on the porch at the other end of the house.” 😲

So instead, I think this lounge chair would work. So he can SLEEP on it. If you have a cantankerous husband, maybe we can split the set, since I obviously won't need two. 😂

I went to Martha's Vineyard a couple of years ago. Coldest May EVER. How they came up with this cute, summery brand I'll never know. lol. But this dress is gorgeous.
