Happy Monday,
I hope your week is off to a great start. 🙂 We have lots of new subscribers, so Welcome! This is the part of the newsletter where I usually tell you something ridiculous my dogs have done, or some general tomfoolery from my life. Tomfoolery happens a LOT, so if that's not your thing, feel free to scroll on down to the good stuff.

To be honest, my weekend was not particularly exciting. JD and I attempted to go to the lake on Friday afternoon with less than stellar results.

On Saturday, everyone I play pickleball with decided that it would be a great idea to play in a local tournament. I was invited.

To watch.
I got to watch them play, high-five, and win medals and trophies. So. Much. Fun. One of the other spectators asked me why I didn't play, and I told her the truth.

“I don't do tournaments because so many people want to play with me that I'd be afraid of making someone mad.” She was not convinced.

Watching wasn't all bad. It gave me plenty of time to think about how I could practice, improve my game, and maybe one day be good enough to compete with them.

Just kidding.

I spent the whole afternoon trying to figure out how to get better so I can beat every last one of them next time.

Some people strive for personal growth. Apparently, I'm not one of them.
xo,
Lisa ❤️

Today On The Website
Two of my friends are off this week for vacation. I am so jealous! If I can't go, I can at least pretend to shop for fun items.

How cute is this from Amazon? LOTS of colors and a great price.

Wayfair has so many great things for outdoor entertaining. Love that these chairs have an ottoman. They come in other colors but I love this cheery orange,
How smart is this? Use it for storage, put the lid on and it's a side table, or make it into an ice chest.
Remedy is now available in Target! Yay. I ordered this because I am so bad to forget my neck. UGH.

Straight leg – a classic! Available in lots of washes.
I'm going to see Angel Reese play Caitlin Clark in Atlanta in a few days and I need a bag for all my essentials. Like lipgloss and my phone. That's it. That's the essentials.

Comfy leisure wear is my favorite. The two pieces together are less than one piece at most retailers. Available in lots of colors.
Such a pretty color and on sale!
Splendid makes some super lightweight clothing. This dress would be great for anyone with their own personal summer. IYKYK

You know who made this ring popular! White and blue sapphires. The anniversary of her death is coming soon. 🙁
A light perfume mist that hydrates the skin and hair? YES, please.

My Style – Eddie Bauer
A great dress, on sale! Pair it with a lightweight cardigan,
Jean shorts, also available in other washes.
Tan and white is my favorite, but this sweater would also look nice with jeans, black pants, etc.

Living Well Tip of the Day
Use the "Sip and Swish" Method to Protect Tooth Enamel
The Neutralizing Rinse: After drinking something acidic—like morning coffee, tea, lemon water, or fruit juice—resist the urge to brush your teeth right away. Instead, swish a mouthful of plain room-temperature water around your teeth for 10 to 15 seconds, then swallow or spit it out.
Why it works: Acidic beverages temporarily soften the protective mineral enamel on your teeth. If you brush immediately afterward, the abrasive bristles can actually wear away that softened enamel. Swishing with plain water quickly neutralizes the pH balance in your mouth, washes away residual sugars and acids, and allows your natural saliva to re-mineralize and protect your teeth safely.

I'm not sure what time the game clock switches over, so I take a screenshot to show the winners. At the start of the day, I was at #5. A few hours later, #6. Finally, as I was finalizing the newsletter, I was at #7. I'm pretty sure Julie P was trying her best to run the table!

I'm going to assume she's Player One, but if I scored 8600 points and didn't get my name on the board, you'd hear my scream from wherever you are!

Congratulations, Julie P! I'm investing in a supersonic mouse and will see you next week. 😊
