The Living Well Newsletter Strawberry & Cream

Strawberries & Cream
The trend I can’t stop noticing this week
Have you heard of the Strawberries and Cream trend? Soft pink and cream are in for fall! This shirtdress is super cute, and the argyle polo would look great with jeans or under a blazer once it cools off.
Fun Finds
I love searching the internet and finding products I’ve never heard of or that are unique. This little blender comes with its own to-go bottles, so protein shakes can travel along with us. And this puffer phone case is just plain fun. It looks like a tiny pillow for your phone! Believe it or not, they are all handmade.
Pack Your Animal Print
My upcoming Hog-Eye girls trip has a dress code. Everyone has to wear animal print for dinner. Luckily, it’s everywhere.
One elegant, one easy — the midi skirt is what I’ll wear to dinner, and the flare leggings are for everything else. Either way, I’m covered for the dress code!
Margie’s Picks
My mom’s style is a little different from mine. She says my items are too “flighty,” lol. So I’m letting her choose what she’d wear
She picked both of these herself, and I’ll admit it. She has great taste. The half-zip pullover is soft and easy, and this quilted jacket is a classic that never goes out of style.
Selling Fast at Chico’s
Both of these are moving quickly, so don’t wait too long. The button sleeve tunic has such a nice detail, and the embroidered tee dresses up jeans in about two seconds flat.
Just Ordered & Eyeing
I just ordered the trekker pants because they look perfect for travel days, and I’m seriously eyeing this Dr. Diamond’s plasma treatment next. It’s expensive but the reviews are good.
My Style: Rugby
Rugby stripes are having a moment — I’m seeing them on everything from dresses to sweaters, and I’m not mad about it.
|
This one had me at “no ironing required” — the collar gives it just enough polish for a lunch date. |
Classic rugby stripes at a price that let me grab it in two colors, which I absolutely did. |
|
The color on this one is so rich it doesn’t even look like a plain t-shirt. |
Cashmere for the price of a regular sweater, and it feels every bit as soft as it should. |
Hi Lisa, your emails are so entertaining. Love them.
Question for you: you may have already talked about this, but I am seeing that Amazon has a dupe for the viral Ruti barrel pants. Can you, tell us anything about this? I would love to try them but can’t see spending so much on the pricey pants. Wondering if the Amazon ones are worth it.
Great question. Yes I have linked to the Rudi dupe at Amazon a couple of times. I ordered them for Rachel, but I had not seen her for us to compare. But I saw one of my HogEye girls this week and she said that the Amazon pair is much much thinner. She sent hers back and is getting the Rudi. But of course, a dupe is never gonna be the same exact quality so I just weigh whether or not I need or can spend the extra money. If it’s something, I’m just gonna wear a short time then I don’t bother. If it’s something I think I’ll keep in my closet for a few years, I make the investment.
