Good Morning,
I am in a bit of a mood.
I don't know if you're aware of this, but I am super competitive. My toxic trait is that I think I should win at everything, even if I'm playing against better, younger players.
Last night, my church friends invited me to play pickleball. We played 12 games, and I lost every single time. You'd think being “church” friends, they'd be less competitive.

You'd be wrong.
That's the face of a person who won every single time she played, except for that one game when she got paired with me. UGH.
Technically, I won the last game, but it was only because she felt sorry for me and literally handed me the win. If she thought I'd be too proud to accept the W, she doesn't know me at all.
I came home complaining about all the games I'd lost, and my dad said, “It's supposed to be fun, right?” Obviously, he doesn't know me either.
I patiently explained to him that winning is a lot more fun than losing. He said, “Well, just think how happy you made them."
Yeah…that's exactly what I was thinking. 🙄
And if you believe that, you don't know me at all.
Hope your week is full of nothing but W's!
xo,
Lisa

Living Well Tip of the Day
Use the "Humming Trick" for Quick Digestion and Calm
The Post-Meal Melodic Reset: After finishing a meal or when you are feeling a bit rushed, spend just 30 to 60 seconds gently humming a favorite tune or a steady, low note to yourself.
Why it works: The vocal cords sit right next to the vagus nerve, which regulates your body's "rest and digest" response. The physical vibration of humming stimulates this nerve, instantly signaling your stomach to release digestive enzymes and telling your heart rate to slow down. It’s a beautifully simple, quiet way to soothe your nervous system and support healthy, comfortable digestion.

  1. Last week on save/splurge, you had a beautiful lamb two tone bag for 12k vs Amazon’s version. The Amazon version was about $49, but made of pleather. Scrolling down the page I found a lamb, two tone for $179, do I ordered it.
It is a beautiful bag that will last for years! It came with it’s own storage case.
Thank you for the comparisons. If you’re in the market, it gives you a great jumping off point!

    1. That’s awesome! I’m glad you found something you liked. And you did it for way under the $12,000 lol.
